Sea Glassing By the Seashore

Summertime!Finally here. I made a promise to myself, after another long and cold winter, that I am going to enjoy each hot and sunny day this summer. Today I did something I love- sea glassing at the ocean!I wrote about last year’s trip here and here. So much fun!My favorite find is turquoise glass:Just like a treasure hunt! The best time to go is low tide:I just like being at the ocean for the day.Then after I soaked them in bleach and water, I lay them out to dry:My biggest prize was clear glass:And I found a lot of milk glass this time:Blue glass is really hard to find:I love finding pottery pieces with old writing or designs on them:And my favorite is the turquoise glass:Then I usually put in small bowls around the house where I can see them and smile:I hope you enjoyed!
