Yes, I do still suggest looking at green paint colors for your kitchen walls when you are working with oak cabinets, such as here. BUT, I thought I would share a couple other paint color options that also work well:The paint color above is Benjamin Moore Firenze AF-225. Doesn't it work well with the cabinets? A perfect compliment with oak or maple kitchen cabinets. I had chosen Firenze for our kitchen when we first moved in 8 years ago:I was still happy with the color, but when we put in new granite counters and backsplash last year, I decided to also change the wall color for a whole new look:I sampled many colors, (just like you!) before I finally decided to paint with Ben Moore Chelsea Gray:I love it! The dark gray works well with my cabinets, backsplash and countertops. So if you are looking for other possibilities to work with your oak/maple cabinets, take a look at Firenze AF-225 or Chelsea Gray HC-168. Always good to have other options!A little project I finally finished last week in the kitchen was covering a couple stools:It really was not as difficult as I thought. I just took the screws out of the bottom of seat:Then I laid out and cut the fabric, (fabric is same as window treatments):I pulled the fabric tight and stapled. For the corners, I just folded like a present and stapled tight:What a wonderful difference:I love when those little details work out so pretty, don’t you? Thanks for stopping by everyone!
