Embracing a New Chapter — Kelly Bernier Designs

Hey everyone. I thought this week I would catch you up on what is going on in my little corner of life. I told you about Mike and I building our new forever home. here, here, here and here.Well, it seems destiny had different plans for us. We have been running into many issues, including waiting five months now for a septic permit. We have not even cut down one tree and here comes winter right around the corner. We are so tired of still living out of boxes in our current rental home. We have moved 7 times in the past 12 years and just want to be settled.Do you believe in fate? Well, we were on a drive last Sunday and we found a pretty house for sale, by owner. The neighborhood is beautiful so we decided to take a look inside:It is almost the same as the house we were going to build. Just about the same layout. We love the yard, the one floor living, a laundry room, (happy dance!), a large master bedroom and a beautiful screened in porch.So… we have decided to buy and move into this house and make it our forever home. We are not going to wait to build anymore. I really believe fate stepped in and made us wait because we were supposed to find this home and make it ours. All new rooms to decorate!
