What is the one accessory I suggest using in every room as a great statement piece?A mirror! Mirrors are a decorator's best friend, and with good reason — a well-placed mirror makes the most of a room's natural light, enhances views, opens a small space and adds sparkle to décor.I recently read an article from Houzz that stated that one of the main design trends we will see in 2016 is Statement Mirrors in the Bathroom:

I think unique mirrors look good in every room, including the bathroom! I posted here on how to update your bedroom with mirrors. I think they are so important in a room’s decor that I even DIYed a couple projects for you on how to make a beautiful statement starburst mirror here and here:Here are a couple mirrors I found, all under $200.00, that will help fill up a large wall perfectly:

Pretty on a bedroom wall, living room or dining room focal wall. Another idea is using a mirror in a gallery wall arrangement:

Round and curved mirrors help break up a group of squares/rectangles of art pieces and makes the arrangement more interesting:

Gorgeous! I think mirrors are an inexpensive way to bring some great drama into the room. Whenever you are in different stores like Home Goods, Target, Pier One, etc. look at their selection of mirrors to find some great unique pieces. Fun!
