Just a Quick Tip...and My thoughts on Peel and Stick Wallpaper
Good Morning! I thought I would not overthink writing this week and would share just a quick tip with you. Short and sweet!
Bring your indoor plants up a notch by placing green moss around the base of plant:

AFTER
It dresses them up a bit. I found this bag of moss at Michaels for about $22.00:
I even like to use with my faux plants :
It’s all about the details.
I would also like to share my disaster wallpaper attempt:
I had fallen in love with this wallpaper:
I know I was one that said that I would never use wallpaper again but the patterns they have now are amazing! I thought this would look fabulous going up the stairs. Look how nice it would have looked with the background bedroom:
The photo does not give it justice, the colors worked so well. SO.. the problem(S) I would like to share to maybe help you in your wallpaper decisions- I would suggest thinking twice about using peel and stick wallpaper. It was sooo hard to work with. Was sticking where it wasn’t supposed to be sticking and you could peel it back, but it seems to crease every time. This one piece took hours. We tried a second piece but with matching and sticking and creasing, (oh my), we decided to call for outside help. Well, you know how hard it is to get outside help. Tried calling three people, two call backs and then never heard back from again. Went to a local paint store and found a card for a guy. He actually came over and this is what we learned: To install and match up wallpaper, you need the paper to be able to slide and move to set into the correct position. There is no ‘give’ in peel and stick. This guy has been installing wallpaper for over 40 years- he knows what he is talking about. Besides the too sticky part, he found the patterns were not matching up roll after roll. So of course, now I am having a hard time returning because the return window has CLOSED! haha Well, I do still want to hang wallpaper up the stairway. I think it will look fabulous. My new wallpaper guy suggested I find the traditional pre-pasted option in something I love. The search continues…I will get back to you on this.
One more thing I would love to share with you today are photos of my beautiful grandkids:
My loves. They are so special. Full of happiness and joy! Grandchildren are the best, don’t you agree? ;)
Have a great week everyone!
