Amazon Has a New Store That's Packed With Easy Home Upgrades- Many Under $50!
Little upgrades and easy home improvement ideas can really make a big difference in your home and it helps when the price tag is affordable. Small potted plants in the bathroom, a wallpapered accent wall and new pillows in the bedroom are just a few ways to make home improvements and Amazon is priced to sell. Great place to also look for dorm decorating. There are over 270 easy upgrades featured in the new section that start at just $9. The Color Rust is Trending Big This Fall 2021
Looking for new pillows? Throws? I mentioned the warmer colors coming here Fall In Love With These New 2021 Paint Colors and I have been seeing rust everywhere in all the new home accessories. If you don’t want to paint an accent wall but still want to add some color to the space, rust accessories and décor items will do that easily. Bring in some rust and terracotta pillows and cushions, curtains and rugs:

Don’t Use fake looking plants
I have written a few posts on using faux flowers, for example here. I think they are a great accessory except when I see a faux plant that screams FAKE!:
I saw this today at a car dealer and thought the whole place started to look tacky and cheap all because of the FAKE trees put around as decorations. If your faux trees looks this bad and sad, better to not use anything at all!
The key is making fake plants work as stylish décor. Don’t buy faux plants that scream fake.
Matching Paint Colors to Exterior Siding Color
When searching for a trim color, after taking many exterior paint color courses, I have learned that you can NOT match any vinyl siding with paint. They may look similar in color but they will never blend in with the siding. It will look as though you are trying to match and failed especially when working with trim. Best to select a color for trim working with your window frame, ie. white, off white or green beige/gray.
