Smart Trick When Working With Slipcovers

I thought it was such a great idea my seamstress shared with me yesterday, I just had to pass it on. You know how no matter how much you tuck in the back and sides on a slipcover, they always seem to pull loose and then you have to tuck and adjust everything again and again?The trick to keeping everything tucked in tight, is when your furniture slipcovers are first ‘slipped on’ and adjusted just right:Then you take a large leftover piece of fabric, or you can use a towel, roll it up and stick it down into the cracks of the back and sides:That will hold the slipcover in place and not pull out and have be adjusted again and again!Brilliant!
