Continuing with helping my sister-in-law with her family room:The blue sofa looks so nice with the Ben Moore Shaker Beige walls:She has not received her chair because it was a custom order with the fabric she choose:I asked if she would like help with selecting window treatments, which I could do online. Remember that her walls are a solid color as is the sofa. Time to bring in some pattern! Here are a couple choices I sent her:

I am choosing the navy and white because the  walls are solid, plus we have to work with the chair fabric. Then she asked me a great question- “The white should look ok on the beige?” (clean vs. dirty). I told her yes, it would work and here are a few examples:

She could not use a dark blue background because it would be too much navy with the sofa. Trying to find beige window treatments with the same beige undertones would be really difficult. The white background looks fresh and clean with the beige.
