I have a sweet, wonderful person I work with online helping her with color selections and decorating. Her name is Rose and we have done quite a few projects together. She is always so kind telling me how much I have helped her. But now I am pleased to say, “Thank you Rosie for teaching me something new!”blog2

Rose asked my advice on painting her bathroom cabinets over after we had selected BM Gentle Gray 1626 for her walls:

Isn’t her bathroom beautiful? Love the tub and window. I told her yes, I would definitely paint the cabinets white to have a better flow in the room.We selected BM Cloud White 967( which I had her match against the white framed window).  She sanded, primed, and then painted with this new formula called ‘Advance’ from the BM paint store. It was made for painting trim and cabinets and the best is that it doesn't show brush marks. On the BM website, ‘Advance’ is described: ‘Advance is ideal for trims, doors, furniture, wainscoting, chair rails, base moldings and cabinetry. The application is easy, with excellent flow and leveling traits. Plus, Advance will stay whiter longer than conventional alkyds, and it dries to a hard, durable surface promising years of beauty.’ Rose was very pleased with the way they turned out!I had not heard about this product. This is good news to me. Stays whiter longer! No brush marks! That is big for me- no brush marks. Sounds pretty great to use for painting cabinets and furniture. I love finding new products that make life easier. Don’t you?And here is the lovely job Rose did:
