What a great city Nashville, TN is! I had a great time visiting this past week. Isn’t the first thing you think of when thinking of Nashville is the country music? Well they do have a lot of that:

But there is so much more! Nashville is a large city and has so much to offer.  I really enjoyed seeing the historical old buildings:The HermitageBelle Meade PlantationThere were many beautiful old churches as well:They were amazing.  Actually, I even commented on how many churches I saw there because there were so many! We also visited a part of Nashville named Franklin, which is another beautiful little historical town. Lots of great boutiques and shops too! And look who I made a date with:Let me know if you recognize who it is! We were so excited to meet each other in person for the first time. We have been online blogging friends for over 5 years now!We also went to the American Pickers building:Have you ever seen the show on the History channel? It was part store and part museum showcasing some the items Mike found along the way. Pretty cool!We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and it was just gorgeous:I definitely recommend this trip to Nashville for everyone young and old! Good food, (hot chicken is their specialty), great fun visiting downtown Broadway Street:Shopping, music and shows, historical buildings and churches and beautiful parks to name just a few. Very nice people live there and it is a kid-friendly town as well. I can not say enough good things about Nashville! If you have questions for me about the trip you would like to know, please email me here!I received an email yesterday from a FTD flower representative about a guide she created that matches spring flowers to the 10 spring Pantone colors. It is very fascinating and I will share with you soon! The friend you see above is Kristie Barnett from The Decorologist!
