Choosing A Paint Color Is Scary

Indecision, uncertainty, stress! It does not matter who you are, everyone gets nervous when getting ready to paint a new wall color in their home.Since we are redoing our kitchen with granite counters, backsplash and new cabinets, I decided I would like to change the wall color also:Kelly Bernier 5 14 diningrm (2)Not such an easy decision is it? Too many colors, not enough time.Taking my own advice, I painted my first sample poster board with the color I thought I would like.:testI looked at it for a few days then painted on wall:test2test3I still was not sure it was the perfect color! Then the decision becomes even more difficult especially when you have more than one person’s opinion to consider. Take my husband for instance who did not like the color at all!So I asked him for any suggestions because I was tired of stressing out about it! Which of course seemed very easy for him. We had painted our master bedroom this color in our last place, Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray, and he loved it.So, another paint sample and poster board:test4test5I do like it and I am going to live with for a few days.
