Best Petunia Gardening Tip Ever

Off to the garden we go! I still have indoor projects but now with the warm weather here, I rather be outdoors. One of the best tips I have ever learned about gardening was from a garden center when deadheading petunias:petunia deadThe key Is not to pinch off at bottom of flower, (like I have always done before I learned this trick!):petunia wrongInstead, pinch or cut off at the end of the stem that is holding the spent flower:petunia cutThis will help prevent seed pods forming instead of new flower growth:petunia dead purplepetunia cut right purpleI first shared this tip with you here in 2015.
