Before & After Photos of Kitchen Redesign
This project was one of my all-time favorite kitchen redesigns! It came out so beautifully and the homeowner is very happy! I gave you a sneak peek here of her before kitchen:The cabinets are still in great shape so we worked with them. Our first major decision was to choose the granite countertops and backsplash that will work well with the cabinets:These soft beige and gray colors work great with the oak cabinets and was an immense improvement updating the kitchen. One of my favorite changes in the room was the new window treatments:Beautiful!! After all of the neutral, hard surfaces are chosen, the next step is finding ways to bring softness into the room. Since window treatment are one of the most expensive accessories, we started looking at window options first. I often suggest using fabric Roman Shades in a kitchen to achieve a big splash of color. When working with a client online, I will suggest three to four different fabrics that I know will work well in the room. Depending on the client’s favorite choice, that is how I determine the colors we will use in the room. Marsha loves blue! She used Ben Moore Grant Beige on the walls:Doesn’t the wall color look nice with the cabinets?I also love our area rug choice- it brings in a lot of color and depth to the kitchen:This kitchen is a wonderful example that proves that not all beautiful kitchens have to be designed in all white. This is a new and stylish kitchen full of personality and cheerfulness!Thank you so much for sending the After pictures Marsha. We all love before and after photos of a room. You did a great job decorating and taking photos. Thank you!
