A Relaxing, Happy Thanksgiving Weekend
I hope you all had a wonderful, long Thanksgiving weekend. Mine was great. Wonderful food, I started my Christmas shopping, visited with friends and family and best of all- I had time to read and just relax.I wanted to have my Christmas decorating done this weekend in NH, but that is not going to happen. And I am not going to stress over it. Instead I spent time looking at Holiday ideas:
This is THE best bow making tutorial I have ever seen. I love big beautiful bows and now I can make my own.I love to make wreaths each year because they are so simple and beautiful:
Every year I say I am going to try to make a boxwood tree:
I have always loved them. I think decorating with boxwood is my favorite Christmas decoration which I wrote about here. It is expensive to buy the tree already made, but they do last a long time. This is pretty too:
I have never gone crazy with a theme decorating our Christmas tree. It has always been simple:Most are handmade ornaments the kids made over the years:My treetop is always blessed with an angel I made with my Grandma Mimi years ago:Makes me smile every time I walk into the room!Look at all the snow we had from Wednesday’s storm:Have you started decorating for Christmas? Do you have any special projects you would like to do? I am really looking forward to this year’s Christmas because we are all going to be together! Yay!
