Top 10 Favorite Online Shopping Sources

I do a lot of online shopping for clients and have a list of go-tos when looking for furniture and accessories. What does it take to make the list of my favorite shopping places? In no special order:

1) Free shipping

2) Customer Reviews

3) Price

4) Sales

4) Individuality of Products

5) Good Customer Service

Ballard Designs:

Although I still love to look through their mailed catalog page by page for great inspiration and ideas, I usually buy online.  I have had my eye on this Thomas mirror, (just purchased for a client), and am going to find a spot somewhere in my new home for this beauty.

So many unique items for your home! One of my favorite wallpaper stores including this example above.

Joss and Main:

Part of the Wayfair family, Joss and Main is one of my first places I search when looking for an area rug. Beautiful selection at good prices, customer reviews and free shipping.

Pier One:

Great place to shop for unique & designer furniture and other home décor. Faux floral arrangements and branches are the best!  Sad to hear that so many of their stores are closing.

Crane & Canopy:

This is why I love to help clients with redesigning bedrooms:

Gorgeous! And this set!:

Which bedding set do you like best??

Joybird:

Joybird is a direct-to-consumer, online-only furniture brand known for their large selection of modern and mid-century modern style sofas in happy colored textiles. Each of their pieces is made to order (most in about 6 weeks though for a surcharge, you can expedite production) and comes with a 365-day home trial (meaning within a full year, you can return the sofa, no questions asked). Fabric swatches are free to order.

They are a little more expensive, but their pillows and throws (and everything else!) is beautiful and unique.

Lamps Plus:

Lamps Plus is my first place to search for lighting online. Not only do they have a huge selection of lights, the prices are very affordable. They also have great mirrors and decorative accessories:

Because Amazon has everything- reviews, good prices, fast shipping and a wide selection of products.

What’s not to love at Pottery Barn?

So this is my current list of where I usually shop for my clients online. No over-the-top designer stores, (no top designer prices either), in my favorite online search places. Locally, I shop at Home GoodsTJ Maxx, Michaels and Target for lamps, pillows, accessories, etc. before I buy online for local clients and myself. Antique stores, small boutiques and yard sales are great spots to find that special, perfect design piece.

Anything I left out? (Whoops- forgot Etsy.com!)

Have a great weekend everyone!
