I LOVE the 2021 Sherwin Williams color of the year, Urbane Bronze:

So rich and luxurious. I have been specifying Urbane Bronze for exterior shutters quite a bit over the last couple years. A stunning exterior color that changes with the light. Although it might be too dark for a whole room, Urbane Bronze is an excellent choice for an accent wall that provides a backdrop for fireplaces or other architecturally significant spaces within the home.

Natural materials complement this neutral shade, including wood finishes, stone accents, woven textiles, and mixed metals. Wood finishes look gorgeous with this rich, darker gray that has a slight bronze/brown undertone to it.

Navy is continuing to be a favorite neutral in paint colors:

According to Pantone, these colors will be the Top Color Trends for Spring 2021:

I have seen this pretty cerulean blue coming up everywhere! I saw it paired with burgundy and it is gorgeous:

Below is an example of how much I love the darker colors. You might remember here where Mike and I painted our new master bedroom wall behind the bed in a lighter color to work with the bedding:

After painting, I think I lasted about a month before I told Mike that I am sorry, but I just do not like the color on the walls. He agreed with me so it was not a problem! Whew. I like warm, darker colors and so does he. And here is my bedroom which I love now:

Ben Moore Philipsburg Blue. Love it! Much more my style than the lighter colors.

What do you think? Do you like the cozy richer colors? Or the lighter, fresh color schemes? I hope you enjoyed! Stay safe.

Best,

Kelly xo
