If you are hesitating to tackle a whole room redesign right now, how about starting off slow and decorate just one small corner?

Maybe you don’t have the time or you can’t afford to do the whole room right now. Or maybe you are looking for a way to change the look of your room. As an alternative, start small and make yourself a beautiful little corner:

There is not a lot to purchase which is great. You might already own some of the pieces to make your little corner. Walk through other rooms and ‘shop’ for a pretty chair, a small table and a few accessories:

  1. Timely post for me, Kelly. Haven’t decided on wall color or bedding for my bedrooms (though on my way for the master), but I’m lucky to have two generous-sized bedrooms in my new “old” house, both of which have that perfect corner for a “read and rest and relax” nook and you’ve shown some great interpretations. Particularly like the pale green dresser under that big round mirror. Have a secretary in the guest room that’s an antique blue, not my color at all, and was thinking of chalk painting it an antique greep which is my color. So thanks for the double inspiration.

  2. I love them all! A friend of mine made a little corner reading area after she took down her Christmas tree. A comfy soft leather chair, a small table for placing a drink or a book, nestled into the small bay window area with lots of sunshine. They love it!

    Everyone loves ‘cocooning’ sometimes 🙂
