I don’t know if window sheers are becoming more trendy, or I am just noticing their simplicity more:

I like them not only in the traditional way:

I love the way they are being used non-traditionally:

So light and pretty! Now I am inspired to try window sheers somewhere in my home! It is a good time to try for the Spring/Summer season. Don’t you think they are beautiful? Are you using sheers in your home?

  1. Sheers? Oh yeaaah! I’ve loved them since the 1970’s. I’ve used them in our various homes these past 36 years and continue to do so today. To me they are the most beautiful kind of window treatments, because they always remind me of my Great Aunt Katie’s gorgeous home. I am truly enamoured how they filter the light and blow gently in the breeze. I use them year round…why cut out any light if you don’t have to!

I love the photos you used to demonstrate this point of the beauty of sheers 🙂 Just lovely!

    • That is something I can not get over Kristie- I always have to walk in clients and rip open those sheers and shades! Open them up everyone and look at all the light that comes in!
