Line Pots with Coffee FiltersThis is a great idea for inside plants also! Line the bottom of your flower pots with a coffee filter. The filter will allow water to drain out and keep the messy dirt inside the pot. garden coffee filter

Create a no-stick shovelSpray your favorite shovel and garden tools with a silicone or Teflon lubricant so that the dirt slides right off.  My husband sprays his weed-wacker  string with spray butter or WD40 when installing string. He says it works like a dream!garden shovel spray
