Five Inspiring Ideas for that Wall Over Your Bed

October 17, 2016

Wondering what to hang over your bed?  For many, it is an awkward space, narrow and wide. It’s hard trying to find something special that you want to make a big impact. Below I have gathered a few inspiring suggestions and photos to help give you some ideas.

One.  Large Artwork:

One single stunning, oversized piece of art is a beautiful statement piece for over the bed:

Two. A Matching Set:

What a fantastic job the designer did pairing custom pillows with the triptych, (three piece), artwork! Just beautiful. You can use two pieces, three or several pieces similar in size or style. Depending on your wall size, you can always add up or out:

Three. Mirrors:

If you love a room with lots of light, fill the wall above your bed with an eye-catching statement mirror. The mirror will reflect the natural light from your windows to make your bedroom feel light and airy. A large mirror is also a great way to give your room the illusion of more space:

Multiple mirrors is another great look I love:

Four. Wallpaper or An Accent Color:

Five. Textured Wood:
