Sherwin William’s Announces Poised Taupe as the Color of 2017

September 17, 2016

It’s time once again. The paint companies have begun choosing their ‘extraordinary’ color for next year.  Sherwin William’s has recently announced their color choice for 2017:

say hello

Sue Wadden, director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams says, “It’s no secret that gray tones have had their moment in the sun and people are ready for a change but nothing too drastic. Going from gray to taupe is a comfortable shift in hue and will continue to work with furnishings and textiles, while looking current and modern wherever it’s applied.

“Poised Taupe celebrates everything people love about cool gray as a neutral, and also brings in the warmth of brown, taking a color to an entirely new level. Not cool or warm, nor gray or brown, Poised Taupe is a weathered, woodsy neutral bringing a sense of coziness and harmony that people are seeking.”Read More
