I have been working with Nina in her new home for a couple months now. This was her living room when she first moved in:

Such a beautiful home! It has been such a pleasure working with her. We kept her sofa, wing back chair, and coffee table to use in the room. The walls are painted with Ben Moore Edgecomb Gray HC-173 and Revere Pewter HC-173 in the cubby.

This is her design board we have put together so far:

Nina is so pleased! She will send more pictures as items arrive and I will share with you. Did I mention this is an online design plan? Every purchase has been made online with free shipping. What do you think so far?

  1. Gorgeous!! I especially love the navy rug and teal lamps. I actually have been looking at that same rug for my living room. I have an indigo blue sofas and love seat, though, so don’t know if it would look right.

  2. It is a fabulous transformation! I love the book shelves, the mirror and the life the colors have brought to the room.
    Congrats Kelly!

  3. Love the transformation. That rug is beautiful. Ties everything together. That large bookcase with the TV…may I ask where she got it? Love the clean lines, yet the room is warm. Wow.

    • She had a local contractor custom build for her Lucy. I had sent her pictures and ideas what to ask the carpenter when he came to give her an estimate. Came out so beautiful!

    • Hi Kitsy,
The rug is more of a cobalt color- not a true navy. If you are interested I can get you the resource where it was bought.

You mentioned you had a indigo blue sofa. I think this would be too much blue if you were to get this rug because you would have to worry about your blues clashing. Since your furniture already has a great color, I think a mostly white background area rug with a blue design would work best. Or a sisal rug would work also.
